Kris Vollrath has called this area home since 1969 and has spent his career working in both the private sector and as a local small business owner.
Kris attended East High School and graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Computer Science.
For 25 years, he worked in IT for companies ranging from small firms to one of the largest software companies in the world. For the past 15 years, he has owned and operated a renovations business here in West Chester, managing every aspect of the work himself. That experience gave him a front-row view of what families, small businesses, and working people are up against in Pennsylvania.
He has only been active in politics for the past three years, but he has held conservative values his entire life. He currently serves as an elected member of the Chester County GOP in one of its most heavily Democratic House districts. He is running because too many people in this county feel ignored by local politics and shut out of decisions that affect their daily lives. They deserve real representation, not lip service.
